On 14th June 2025, PSA’s Chennai International Terminals Pvt Ltd (CITPL) hosted a memorable Family Day event that brought employees and their families together for an evening of joy, bonding and celebration. Organised by Helios Event Productions, the event took place at YMCA Royapettah and carried the theme “Ohanaland – Moana Inspired.”
The event took inspiration from Disney’s popular film Moana, embracing Hawaiian idea of “ohana,” which means family. Goal behind Ohanaland was simple, to make everyone feel like they belonged. Whether you were a child or a grandparent, the space was designed to make you feel welcome, celebrated, and part of a big, joyful family.
The venue was beautifully transformed into a tropical island setting. Colourful fabric drapes, themed decorations and eye catching installations brought the Moana vibe to life. Every corner had something interesting, from playful elements for kids to scenic spots that impressed the adults. It felt less like an event and more like stepping into a warm, adventurous island story.

Renowned TV personality Erode Mahesh took charge of hosting the evening and his presence elevated the energy of the event.
